Set coccinella / ladybug

.Le coccinelle sono insetti piccoli, in genere di grandezza compresa tra 1 e 10 mm.

Esistono circa 6000 specie di coccinella nel mondo. 

Si nutrono prevalentemente di altri insetti, come afidi, acari e parassiti delle piante.

Vive nei prati, orti, giardini, parchi e talvolta in casa, fino a 1500 metri. Si ripara dal freddo sotto le foglie o nelle fessure delle cortecce.

Nel mondo degli Scout, le Coccinella sono le bambine di età compresa tra gli 8 e 11 anni, così dette perché indossano un copricapo circolare di tessuto rosso, con 7 punti neri, che richiama appunto l'insetto.

They mainly feed on other insects,  such as asphid, mites and plant parassites.

It lives in meadows, vegetable garden, gardens, parks and sometimes at home, up to 1500 metres. It shelters  from the cold under the leaves or in the fessures of the bark.

In the Scout world, Ladybugs are girls between the age of 8 and 11, so calle because they wear a circular headdress of red fabric, with 7 black dots, which recall the insect.
